Who we are

Welcome to the Afghanistan Trade Portal. This trade portal is implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MoIC) of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with technical assistance of ITC and UNCTAD and financial assistance of the EU.

This trade portal is a platform created in compliance with the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) of World Trade Organization (WTO) that is signed among 110 countries including Afghanistan on February 22, 2017. Based on this agreement, all the information related to imports, exports and transit must be published online with a view to guide local and foreign traders to understand trade related formalities.

Afghanistan Trade Portal serves as a guide for the traders to understand trade related processes, procedures, information and documents issued by the relevant agencies. It also serves as a platform between the traders and government agencies to solve their issues and challenges, and stores legal documents, forms and information.

Our team is committed to collect data, map processes, validate, update and publish information related to import, export and transit from the perspective of end users.
